Canada recently updated the
Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations. The changes were
extensive. This training program reflects what became known as
the “Clear Language Regulations.” We used Amendment 5 that became
law in September 2005 in preparing this training package.
The original intent was to make
the law more accessible to people who transport dangerous goods.
As the changes progressed, it became clear that changes in
technology, common practice and the new United Nations
recommendations would require a complete overhaul of the
Regulations. This training program reflects those changes.
TIME:
Each disc takes about 60 minutes
to complete. A set of 20 question tests with answer keys are
included. Also included are printable wallet cards and
certificates, reference materials, and a copy of the New Clear
Language Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, and all
other applicable Canadian and International Acts & Regulations.
