Asbestos Safety in the Workplace

Did you know that Asbestos is a generic name given to a naturally occurring mineral that can cause lung disorders, pulmonary edema, and lung cancer?

Did you know that it used to be used as a spray-on insulation in commercial buildings, schools and government offices?

Did you know that it is commonly used today in gaskets, general industry, and as an industrial insulator in manufacturing processes?

The "Asbestos Safety in the Workplace" program provides workers with the necessary steps to be taken to avoid occupational exposure to asbestos. The program introduces the different types of asbestos, talks about their hazards, and instructs on the necessary steps each worker must take to avoid exposure.

If your workers are exposed to asbestos, they must, in most jurisdictions, receive appropriate training on the different types of asbestos and the hazards they possess in occupational settings. This program is for you.

This program is also available as a Computer-Based Training package.
